Interactive Timetable [event_timetable]

The timetable [event_timetable] shows the program as a grid: venues side by side as columns, times from top to bottom. Your guests see at a glance what runs in parallel and where the breaks are.

The timetable on Saturday: colored column headers per venue, the green line for doors opening and cards sized by their duration.

What matters

ElementWhat it showsWhere it comes from
Day tabsOne tab per event day. On the current day, “today” opens automatically. From the dates of the sessions
ColumnsOne column per venue, sorted alphabetically by name. Venues without sessions on the selected day are hidden.Events → Venues
Column headersVenue name and color, plus the hall plan icon (with the exhibitor plugin). The headers stay on top while scrolling.Venue color – always, even with category colors
CardsTime, title, image and the icons for favorites, calendar and ticket. The height matches the duration.Session; color from venue or category
Now lineA red line moves across the grid every minute – on the current day only. The device’s clock
Doors open and closeA green line for doors opening, an orange one for the end of the day.Daily opening hours of the main event
My FavoritesReduces the grid to the saved sessions; venues without matches disappear.Favorites in the browser
No venue, no place in the grid

The timetable needs maintained venues. A session without a venue has no column and does not appear here – the dashboard lists such cases under “Without venue”. Without an end time, the card only gets the minimum height.

Parallel sessions in the same room

If two sessions overlap in the same venue – say two workshop stations –, the timetable automatically splits the column into side-by-side lanes. Every card stays fully readable and clickable.

Show doors open and close

Both lines come from the main event: open it and enter start and end per day under Daily opening hours in the “Event data” box. The plugin derives the days from the assigned sessions. Change the labels (“Doors Open”, “Doors Close”) under Settings → Text & Labels.
