Every exhibitor has a web address of their own that can be shared. Optionally the view opens as a window above the list instead – then the guest keeps their filters and position.
What the view shows
| Area | Content |
|---|---|
| Header | Logo, name, location (hall and room as one entry), booth, type in its color, country with flag, “Sales at booth”, categories (grey) and products (dashed). |
| About us | The description from the large text field. |
| Gallery | The product images; a click opens them large. Browse with the arrows, the arrow keys or by swiping. |
| Events | With the calendar plugin: the exhibitor’s sessions, sorted by date – see Program & speakers. |
| Actions | “Save favorite”, “Share” (the device’s share function, or copy link) and “View on map”. |
| Contact & details | Contact person, email (disguised against spam bots), phone, address and all filled link platforms. |
Own page or pop-up?
| Variant | Behavior | Good for |
|---|---|---|
| Own page (default) | Opens /exhibitor/name/ or your URL path. Every exhibitor can be found and linked individually. | Websites that want individual exhibitors in search engines |
| Pop-up | Opens above the list without reloading. Filters and scroll position stay. | Fairs with many quick looks into profiles |
The default is set under Settings → Design & Display → Exhibitor detail view and can be overridden per page with detail_view="page" or "modal". “Open details in” (same or new window) under Functions & Defaults only applies to the own page.
On phones
The gallery uses two columns instead of full width. The category badges can be limited to one or two lines or hidden entirely under Design & Display → Categories in mobile view – otherwise a tile with eight categories becomes very tall.
Your own page layout
The single page can be replaced completely in the theme – see Hooks & template.
