Exhibitor Manager DOCS & HELP

Featured Exhibitors

A row of tiles can sit above the exhibitor list – for sponsors, premium booths or newcomers. There is no shortcode of its own for it: the row belongs to [event_exhibitor_list] and is switched on at the event.

The “Featured Exhibitors” row. The second tile is flipped and shows name, type, country, location with booth, category, “Details” and heart.

What the row looks like

  • Front: logo and name, the frame in the type’s color.
  • Back: on desktop the tile flips on mouse hover and shows type, country, location, booth, categories, “Details” and the heart. On touch devices the first tap flips the tile, only the second opens the detail view.
  • Arrows and auto-advance: if not all tiles fit on screen, arrows appear; optionally the row moves on by itself. It pauses while the mouse is over it, a tile is flipped, the tab is in the background or the device asks for “reduced motion”.
  • When searching: the row steps back as soon as the guest searches or filters. Featured exhibitors also appear in the regular list.

Switching on: the event first …

… then the individual exhibitors

  1. 1
    Flip the switch

At the exhibitor under “Event & Location Details”, right below the event selection: “Featured exhibitor”.

  2. 2
    Position (optional)

The field only appears when the switch is on. Whoever gets a number stands at the front in that order.

  3. 3
Leaving it empty is the rule

Everyone without a number gets a random place behind them, drawn anew on every page view – so not always the same one is first.

Many at once

The Mass Editor has the columns “Featured” and “Featured position” as well as the bulk action “Set Featured”. Via CSV, use the columns Featured and Featured_Order.

For a single embed – such as a slim list in the sidebar – featured="false" switches the row off.
