A click on the heart saves an exhibitor – no login, stored only in the guest’s browser. The list can be passed to a phone or a companion by QR code.
Saving and showing
- Heart: on tile, table row, the info sheet in the hall plan and in the detail view (“Save favorite”).
- “Favorites” in the filter bar: shows only the saved exhibitors; a second click (“Show all”) brings the full list back. The other filters keep working.
- Storage: only the guest’s browser. The list survives closing the page but applies only to this device.
Passing it on by QR code or link
- 1Share button
Next to “Favorites” in the filter bar. A window with QR code and address opens.
- 2Scan or copy
The QR code is generated right in the browser; nothing goes to third-party servers. Alternatively “Copy link” and send it by messenger.
- 3Open on the other device
The address contains the exhibitors (
?favs=516,510,503). They are added to the favorites there, and the directory immediately shows only the favorites.
What the organizer sees
Every heart anonymously increases a counter on the exhibitor – who clicked is not stored. You see the totals in the dashboard under “Top 10 Most Favorited” and in the Mass Editor in the read-only “Fav.” column.
Under Settings → Security & Maintenance, “Favorites spam protection” sets the minimum interval per connection (default 1 second, 0 to 10). It only slows down the statistics, never the saving itself – that always works instantly.
Change the labels (“Favorites”, “Show all”, “Share favorites”, “Copy link” …) under Settings → Labels & Texts, group “Favorites & Sharing”. hide_favs_icon="true" removes the heart from a list.
