Exhibitor Manager DOCS & HELP

Exhibitor Directory [event_exhibitor_list]

The [event_exhibitor_list] shortcode is the main view for your website: all exhibitors of an event as tiles or a table, with search, filters, favorites and pagination.

The grid view: search, filters, view switcher and favorites at the top; each tile carries the type badge in the type color, location, booth, categories and a gallery preview.

Two views

Grid (grid)Logo, name, location, booth, categories, gallery preview; “Details”, map icon and heart at the bottom. The left edge carries the type’s color.Consumer fairs, artist markets
Table (table)Compact rows with logo, name, location, booth and categories. On phones it automatically becomes a card list.Trade fairs with very many exhibitors
The table view of the same event.

Guests switch between the views themselves with the two icons in the filter bar. Which one appears first is set under Settings → Functions & Defaults or per page with view.

Search and filters

  • Search: narrows down by name, instantly while typing.
  • Always there: types, categories and locations.
  • Optional: products, countries (with flag), “Sales at booth” (yes, no, no information) and – with the calendar plugin – “Events” (with or without sessions). The switches are under Settings → Functions & Defaults.
  • Multiple selection: each filter opens a list with checkboxes and its own search line. If several entries are selected, a tooltip on hover shows which.
A filter with multiple selection: search line, “Reset filter” and a checkbox per entry.

Only values actually used in this event appear; a filter without entries stays invisible. Choosing a parent product also includes all its sub-products.

“View on map”

The map icon only appears if the exhibitor’s location lies on one of the event’s hall plans. A click opens the plan as a window above the page – already on the right tab and with the booth highlighted.

Booth numbers still secret?

In the event entry, tick “Hide all location & booth information globally”. Locations, booth numbers and the map icon then disappear from all lists and detail views – without touching a single exhibitor.
