Exhibitor Manager DOCS & HELP

Locations, Halls & Booth Numbers

Booth number and hall make an exhibitor findable on site – and they are the bridge to the hall plan. Both are in the “Event & Location Details” section.

Booth IDs

  • Free text: e.g. A12, H1-A04 or F04.
  • Several booths with commas: A12, A13 means two booth areas. Both are highlighted in the hall plan.
  • No booth: leave the field empty.
  • Spelling: the number must match the area’s ID in the SVG file exactly – case may differ, nothing else. See Linking booths.
Duplicate booth numbers

The Mass Editor reports “Duplicate booth number detected!” and doesn’t save the row as long as two exhibitors carry the same number.

Hall / room

  • Indented list: every hall at the top, its rooms below. Multiple selection is allowed – e.g. for a booth with a workshop in the side room.
  • One entry instead of two: if hall and room are both ticked, the front end doesn’t show two entries but “Hall 01 | Workshop”.
  • Hall missing? “Manage locations” opens the list in a new tab; your input is kept.
  • Assigned hall plans & sub-locations: below the event field the screen shows which plans and rooms the selected event provides. Only a location that occurs there leads to the plan.

Hiding booth information before the fair

Often the exhibitor list goes online before booth allocation is final. For this, the event entry has the switch “Hide all location & booth information globally” (in the “Hall plans” box). Booth numbers, halls and “View on map” then disappear from all lists, plans and detail views of this event – without touching a single exhibitor. For a single list, hide_locationinfo="true" is enough.
