Exhibitor Manager DOCS & HELP

Creating an Exhibitor

Event, booth, classification, images, contact – in this order. Exhibitors and events are the same entry type and are listed together under Exhibitors → Exhibitors.

Two kinds of entries, one list

The list under Exhibitors → Exhibitors: the event at the top, its exhibitors indented with a leading dash below. A click on the ID copies it.

An entry without a selected event is itself an event: the bracket around everything, carrier of the hall plans. An entry with a selected event is an exhibitor. There is no separate menu item – only the “Event” field decides. Moving means: choose another event, save.

Choose the event first

As long as no event is selected, the entry counts as an event and appears in other exhibitors’ selection list. Without an event, an exhibitor appears in no list – the dashboard reports it under “Unassigned Event”.

The edit screen

An exhibitor’s edit screen: title, description, the “Exhibitor data” box below; publish and the logo as featured image on the right.
  1. 1
    Title

The name – it appears on the tile, the booth sign and in the hall plan.

  2. 2
    Description

The large text field fills “About us” in the detail view. An excerpt (short description) appears in the hall plan’s info sheet.

  3. 3
    Event & location details

Event, dates, featuring, sessions, booth, hall, type, categories, products, country, sales at booth, visibility – see below.

  4. 4
    Product gallery

“Add images to gallery” opens the media library, multiple selection is possible; the small cross removes an image.

  5. 5
    Contact & social details

Contact person, email, phone, address, internal info page and 24 link platforms – see Contact details & links.

  6. 6
    Logo

On the right under “Featured image”. If it is missing, the type’s image steps in, then the default image from the settings.

  7. 7
    Publish

Only then is the entry visible in the front end.

The fields under “Event & Location Details”

The section as a whole: event with its hall plans, the inherited dates, featuring, sessions, booth IDs, hall / room, type, categories, products, country, sales at booth and visibility.

CountryExactly one. Shows the flag.
Sales at boothYes, no or no information – all three can be filtered in the front end.
Visibility“List & Map” (default) or “Map only” for stages, catering, toilets and storage: clickable on the plan but not in the directory or any filter.

Below each select field a link (“Manage types”, “Manage categories” …) opens the respective list in a new tab; your input is kept.

An exhibitor without a type

gets no accent color and can’t be filtered by type. The dashboard reports it under “Missing Type”.

Before you hand the exhibitor over

  • The name is spelled correctly – it will be on the booth sign.
  • The event is selected; booth IDs and hall / room are set.
  • Type and at least one category, a logo, a description and at least one contact detail are present.
  • The dashboard no longer reports anything about this exhibitor.
For latecomers

The Quick Add Wizard in the dashboard guides you through a new exhibitor in six steps. For many at once: import; for changes to many: Mass Editor.
